As the sun went down, the dance floor lit up and the party started! Megan and Grant danced the night away with their closest friends and family! It was a PERFECT summer evening for a fabulous backyard wedding! LOVED how Megan and Jayme ( www.event-studio.com) decided on these beachy-themed colors and details... from their signature drink, "Blue Hawaiian", to the Hawaiian-shirted bartenders! Celebration Party Rental http://www.celebratekc.com/ provided these chic and AMAZING illuminated acrylic bars and tables too. Everything looked SO amazing!
I don't think Grant left Megan's side the whole day... whether they talked and lingered with friends or were GET'N DOWN on the dance floor! Their thoughtfulness and kindness towards their guests and love for each other left a HUGE impression on me and everyone around them. THANK YOU BOTH for being so so so amazingly kind and FUN! It was such a happy and fabulous day and I'm so lucky to have been your wedding photographer!

Their aqua wedding programs doubled as fans for the guests! What a "cool" idea for a summer wedding! (I'm such a dork! I know!... But do you get my "cool" joke?!"
The decorated gates opened the way to where the reception was held underneath the lanterned tent.

Megan and Grant provided monogrammed water bottles to all the guests and vendors! AWESOME! I think I downed about 3 of those things right after the ceremony. SUCH A GOOD IDEA!

As a photographer, I truely beleive having professional lighting for your reception is one of the best investments! It can add drama and elegance and really set the mood. Check out the tent when the sun went down! (Part I has shots of the tent without the lighting!)
