It's Monday! - The Perks of Being a Wedding Photographer

My day is absolutely swamped! I looked at my calendar and thought to myself, "Self, what were you THINKING?.... And after a SUNDAY wedding?!" My feet hurt. My head hurt. My legs are still sore (Which actually is cool... I can skip my workout today!) Mondays are rough for me anyways because I push every ounce of energy and effort into EVERYTHING I do all weekend long. Mondays are usually my "recovery" day. But not today!

I had just returned from a consultation and sat down in my well worn office chair when - KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK at the door. I thought - Oh NO. Someone wants to sell me something or try to convert me to their religion! (Because UPS and Fed Ex do NOT come at this time of day)

I was shocked and so so so glad to be wrong! (This is a rare occurrence. You can just ask Paul about THAT.)
Because this knock at the door made my Monday so much better! Why? Because Ashley of Good Earth Floral Design Studio had ordered me cupcakes and a very nice man brought them to my door as a thank you gift! WHAT A FABULOUS SURPRISE FOR THIS HECTIC MONDAY!!!

And these are no ordinary cupcakes! These were hand delivered by Cupcake Construction Company! OMG!!!! Cookies and Creme... Reese's Pieces Peanut Butter? AYKM?!!! Today is a heavenly day!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH ASHLEY!!!! Your work is fabulous and so are you! This totally made my day!

So I'm thankful and happy! Happy I have a dream job that works my quads and hamstring and core! Happy I have a job that excuses me from working out on Mondays... And for being able to work with amazing people like Ashley of Good Earth! Wedding Photography totally has it's perks, and here's a couple photos to prove it -
