This wedding is special to me. I mean, every wedding is special, but I have known Jeremy and his family since I was old enough to even have memories! Our families have stayed connected even when my family was living a few steps away from the gulf coast and they lived about as far away from ANY coast as you could get! A very very long story short: Jeremy made a life-changing decision. He gave up his full scholarship to the state university in order to attend ministry school here in Kansas City. Little did he know, his decision would cause a literal exodus of almost his entire family from Illinois to Kansas City, Missouri! AND we now have a most fabulous addition to his family: COURTNEY! And it is so so wonderful to have their family and extended family so close again! Just amazing.
Jeremy and Courtney are adorable. Seriously. In high school, he was the football star and she was a cheerleader. Their first kiss was at a school dance and the rest is history! Need I say more? Their story, smiles and interactions with each other are so sweet and he loves her with with all of his heart! It means the world to me to be able to photograph such close friends -to see where we've all come from, been through and know that our destinies and paths have been crossed and connected for reasons bigger than us... is so humbling and amazing!
Jeremy is also the web genius behind my new and fabulous blog! He has spent so many hours working with me and coding and doing all kind of behind the scenes work on this thing! ANYTHING is possible when Jeremy is working on it! SERIOUSLY! All my blog-o-licious dreams have come to life and I couldn't be more happy!!! SO THANK YOU SO SO MUCH JEREMY!!! My readers will thank you too :)

Courtney and Jeremy had a very modern, yet emotional, ceremony. I don't think there was one dry eye in the whole place! Everyone was so happy for them! It was beautiful.
Courtney had so many fabulous details. I love this hanging candle lit chandelier! It hung at the entrance of the santuary and totally set the mood for the evening!
Are these flowergirls totally not the most adorable??? The polka dots are so fun! Love the cobalt blue headbands and accessories with this too!
So cute. Had to add one more of these adorable flowergirls so you could see their hair pieces. What a great idea and easy way to bring in your wedding colors!
We headed out to Longview Mansion for a few more photos later that evening. Courtney was breathtaking in this AMAZING light pouring down on us! What a beautiful bride and wedding dress!
Super classy. Jeremy and Courtney are nothing short of fabulous. Jeremy requested a shot from far away to capture all the pilars and lake in the background. I was more than happy to do it and I LOVE when my brides and grooms throw me their ideas!

This was one of Jeremy's favorite photos. I love it! Right before the bride and groom left for their honeymoon, their niece and flowergirl wanted one last shot with her auntie! So sweet! As usual Claire, your work is amazing! You have a way of capturing it all. I love the one of just us girls (Courtney and bridesmaids), but my favorite has to be the last one with Courtney and Gracie! I know I'm a little partial since my daughter is the beautiful flower girl, but who wouldn't be?!
