I have a deep appreciation for genuine moments, sincere love, and the spontaneous actions that lead to heartfelt expression and powerful emotions. Allie and Grant's Perfect Day FILLED with all of the above. My only regret was that it went by too fast! Bursts of laughter, shouts of "don't cry yet, don't cry yet!", and the hundreds of gasps as people saw Allie, the gorgeous bride, walk into a room for the first time. Everything was real, unrehearsed and simply beautiful!
Here are a few details about the day:

The girls and guys got ready at The Hyatt on Crown Center Plaza The Hyatt on Crown Center Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri.
Ceremony Site: Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church here in Kansas City, close to Crown Center!
Reception:Union Station
Hair and Makeup: Bellez Design Studios Bride: Fun Lisa Brown, Bridesmaids: Sarah Adams

And now... The photos!

Getting the veil and hair just perfect...
The Shoes
The Dress
3 things a modern bride is never without. (Ring, Phone, Mascara!)
Grant finishing the last few details...
SISTERS! Allie's sister was on Dress Detail!
Got this shot of the Mother of The Bride watching her daughter put on her wedding dress! Aww! She adored her daughter all day long and instead of being fussy about details and logistics, she was actually LIVING IN THE MOMENT with her girls! It was great to see this awesome family in action!
Bustle, anyone? It was one of the funnniest moments of the day as it took just about every bridesmaid to find where the hook-ups for the bustle were located!
While the girls were searching, Allie did this...
We went down to the lobby and ran into someone who was very happy for her...
GORGEOUS! Allie, you are smoke'n hot!
All the J.Crew Mod... er, I mean, Bridesmaids!
Very fitting for this group of girls! They were so much fun!
Allie and Grant chose to wait until the ceremony to see eachother, so we did the guys and girls shots seperately at first! I think the guys enjoyed their Man Time! They're pretty cool dudes!
Thanks for being so fun and easy to work with and going along with my crazy ideas guys!!!
This was taken right as Allie started her approach down the aisle!
The beautiful bride! She's totally GLOWING!
Our Lady of Sorrows is such a pretty church founded in 1891 and is still in the original construction. The ceremony was simply beautiful
Getting Married!
I love all the expressions in this shot!
MARRIED! LOVE her smile!
And the fun begins! A husband, a cold drink and a mini-fan! What more does a girl need on a hot day in May? Aren't they sooo cute???
The wedding party! Look'n good, guys! We headed out to Nelson Atkins via trolly for a few quick photos!
LOVE them!
So sweet. Allie and Grant are ridiculously goodlooking ;)
BEAUTIFUL
HOTNESS!
Back at the reception!
Their awesome cake!
So. They had this cheese station. I could have pretty much stood there all night long eating all the different cheeses. SO GOOOOOOD!
After dinner, the most heartfelt toasts began. Bride and groom being toasted! Grant looks so happy with his WIFE!
No, the best man is NOT proposing to a bottle of Ice. For an explaination, go here: http://brosicingbros.com/
He's a "bro" alright!
A very happy Father-Daughter Dance!
A FABULOUS first dance...
I had to just about lay down on the ground for this shot, but I love the high ceilings and guests watching from on top of The Bistro. Allie and Grant, you guys are the best!
Something about this one just feels like LOVE. Allie and Grant, thank you guys so much for everything! I hope you've enjoyed your honey moon in Riviera Maya! I'm so happy for you both and am totally the luckiest. Stay fab guys!!! HUGS!!! XOXO - Claire
