This 3-year-old superstar has her portraits taken recently to celebrate another GLAMOROUS year! Happy Birthday sweet girl!
I love to photograph quickly and give LOTS of praise to my young subjects! Parents are great "assistants" at this too :)
If they are wanting to stand or pose a certain way, never say, "NO"... let them be a part of the decisions and I PROMISE they will reward you for it.
The first 15-20 minutes are crucial! This is when they'll be the most excited about the photos and poses!
I am so happy for S & D! I photographed their wedding just over three years ago and I'm thrilled that they will soon be (the BEST) parents (in the WORLD) !!
Here are just a few of my favorites from their beautifully sunny session in Lee's Summit, MO!
It's a Christmas Miracle! Thanks to Storm Draco, we got a few layers of snow just in time for Bethany, Jordan and Baby E's First Christmas! I have known Bethany since she was practically a baby herself and was flattered when they asked me to take photos of their family! Jordan is a proud member of our nations military and will be leaving for his first tour the day after Christmas. We are all so proud of him and his family and will miss him like CRAZY! I have so much love for this family! Here is a quick preview of just a FEW of my favorites from their photo session!
Every fall, I try to find the BEST locations for the onslaught family of photos I'll be taking (I know. The word "onslaught" is not romantic or pretty, but it thoroughly describes what I know to be the month of October when it comes to portrait sessions!!!). While most people think, "a fountain! a bridge! a creek! the front steps of our house!"... I look for great LIGHT, lots of space to run and play, great color, and plenty of room for options!
I love returning clients. Especially with they return with + ONE MORE to love! You many remember when I photographed Jenny + Mike's wedding in Seaside, FL... ( http://jennysteffens.blogspot.com/2010/11/my-life-our-wedding-seaside-fl... ) Well, I was thrilled when Jenny asked me to document their growing family and some quality time for Emma + Sam! COUSINS! How perfect!
Wow do I EVER love it when my bride and grooms ask me to take their family photos! And even cooler when instead of 2... there are now 3 in the family! I photographed Kevin & Heather's wedding back in the fall of 2008 and I was thrilled to meet their first little kiddo, Nicholas!
He has so much spunk and energy! One of the happiest kids I have ever had a chance to photograph!
Thanks so much you guys for having me as your photographer! AND for being such troopers and walking around so much! I had a great time and am loving watching little Nicholas grow up! Hugs to you all!
I have photographed this family from Kid Number 1! Meet Evie, she's the little sister who just turned ONE! AND.. we just found out she'll soon be a BIG SISTER! So I will now have 3 ADORABLE little kiddos to photograph throughout the years! I think they have a monopoly on cutest kids in the world! ;) Here are a few of my favorites from Evie's One Year Photo Shoot!
Brooke: Class of 2012! Lee's Summit High School Senior Photography - Longview Farms & Downtown Lee's Summit
Have I mentioned lately how much I LOVE taking HS Senior Photos? I'm so proud of all the girls I get to photograph to commemorate such a fun, bittersweet, turning point in their life! Here are a few of my favorites from Brooke's Senior Photo Session in Lee's Summit, MO.
I often get asked, "do you take family portraits, or just weddings?"... Answer: I love family photos! Here are just a few of my favorites from a recent family photo shoot! Love this family!
I love working with High School Seniors getting ready to graduate! Jackie was so much fun! We narrowly missed a rainy day... She WORKED IT OUT and we got some super cute shots... Then again, it's probably impossible to take not-good-shot of Jackie!
This is always such a fun and exciting time... Graduation, going away to college etc. There are so many emotions and I'm glad Jackie's are all happy ones!
